Since its first meeting in 1881, the American Association of University Women (AAUW) has been a catalyst for change. With more than 170,000 members, 1,000 branches, and 800 college and university partners, we have worked together as a national grassroots organization to improve the lives of millions of women and their families. Each year the national organization provides millions of dollars in fellowships, grants and awards for outstanding women around the globe and for community action projects.
The AAUW Grand Junction Branch was established in 1927. More information about the branch history may be found at “About Us”. We welcome you to join us for education, community programs, legislative advocacy, research and scholarships for women. By joining AAUW, you belong to a community that breaks through educational and economic barriers so all women have a fair chance.
For information about current meetings, read our newsletter at “NEWS”.
