The incoming board is busy planning the 2017-18 programs. As programs and dates are confirmed, the information will be added.
August 2017 – Be sure to stop by the Museum of Western Colorado to see the exhibit on the Colorado Women’s Hall of Fame. There is a rumor that one of our Branch Presidents might be mentioned…
September 2017 – Thursday, September 7 from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm in the Community Room at the Home Loan Building, 205 North 4th Street, GJ. The Community Room is located in the basement level of the building and you will see a sign in the lobby directing you to the elevator or stairs.
Based on feedback from our members, we are not meeting at a restaurant. Rather than lunch, refreshments will be available – cheese & crackers, fruit, cookies, and water or lemonade to drink. A donation to offset the cost of the snacks will be appreciated.
Members and guests are welcome to bring their own lunch or drink with them.

Speaker Tony Giurado, Chief Academic Officer-School District 51
Tony Giurado is the Title IX contact person for School District 51 and will share information about what kind of Title IX concerns are happening and how these concerns are being dealt with.

November 2017 – November 2nd Program – CONNECTIONS @ Western Colorado Community College
We are meeting in the Chez Lena Restaurant. Young ladies who are currently attending Colorado Mesa University are joining us for this meeting. Our recent scholarship recipients are invited. This is an opportunity to learn the challenges faced by current students as they endeavor to complete college degrees.
Delicious hors d’oeuvres provided by the Culinary Department will be served. Members and their guests are asked to pay $12.00 for this meeting to cover the cost of the food items, which will include: a cheese platter with jams and fresh berries, hot hors d’oeuvres and chocolate dipped cream puffs. A percentage of the fee goes to the student scholarship fund at W.C.C.C. We have secured a donation to pay the cost for our invited student guests.

Please bring your favorite finger food and a donation for the Food Pantry
(Note: the Food Pantry can use donations of feminine products as well as food)
This is a great chance for all members to know each other better.
